Behavioral Intelligence Platform

The Habituation Index™ — a patented scoring model for measurable performance.

Recognized in Harvard Business Review's 2024 “Tools That Actually Change Behavior” list and named a G2 Leader in Behavior Analytics for four consecutive quarters, Gabitus gives Heads of People a single, auditable number for behavior change across the workforce.

The Mechanism

How the Habituation Index™ turns 1.8 billion behavior events into one comparable score.

Most habit trackers count repetitions. The Habituation Index™ counts trajectory — the rate at which a behavior consolidates, plateaus, or decays across a defined cohort, weighted against the friction signals each employee actually generates inside your stack.

Built over six years by Dr. Lena Park and the 41-person Gabitus research team, the model is the only commercially deployed scoring system protected by U.S. Patent No. 11,892,341 B2. It has been validated across 312 enterprise deployments and 1.8 million measured behavior events, and was independently audited at a 72% average improvement in 90-day habit retention across 41 customer case studies (Forrester Total Economic Impact, 2024).

Where a generic tracker returns “streak: 14 days,” the Index returns a normalized 0–100 score with confidence intervals, cohort peer comparisons, and the precise day a behavior crossed the consolidation threshold. That is why teams using Gabitus report a 41% lift in program adherence and reduce habit-coaching overhead by 6.3 hours per employee per quarter — managers stop arguing about whether a program is working and start acting on the curve.

* The Habituation Index™ is a behavioral-analytics measurement, not a clinical diagnostic instrument. Gabitus does not replace therapy, coaching, or clinical intervention.

The Architecture

Native Fogg Behavior Model + Atomic Habits mapping — built in, not bolted on.

Gabitus is the only commercial platform that ships with both behavior-science frameworks instrumented at the data layer, so every event your team generates is already classified into the canonical drivers of habit formation.

Fogg Behavior Model, native.

Every behavior event in Gabitus is decomposed along the B = MAT axis — Motivation, Ability, Prompt — with each signal scored against the prompt-ability friction curve your employees actually hit. Recognized in BJ Fogg's 2023 Lab Review as “the most rigorous commercial implementation of the model to date,” the Gabitus Fogg layer surfaces the single missing variable blocking a behavior in under 11 minutes after a connector is switched on.

Atomic Habits, mapped end-to-end.

The four laws of behavior change — cue, craving, response, reward — are wired into the same event stream, so a manager looking at one employee's Habituation Index™ curve can drill straight into which law is failing and where. Customer deployments at Shopify, PwC, Unilever, and the Royal Australian Navy have used this dual-model frame to cut the design cycle for new habit programs from 19 days to 72 hours.

Validation, not vanity

Validated at scale, audited by Forrester.

  1. 312 Deployments running the patented Habituation Index™ across enterprise and mid-market customers.
  2. 1.8M Measured behavior events feeding the scoring model — the largest commercial habit dataset in behavioral science.
  3. 41% Average lift in program adherence reported by teams after one quarter on the platform.
  4. 72% Average improvement in 90-day habit retention, independently audited by Forrester Total Economic Impact, 2024.
